Horses went top in Berlin!
Leopold van Asten participated in the Global Champions Tour Berlin with his horses VDL Groep Hutch and VDL Groep Elegant Hero Z.
It proved to be a good decision to make the trip to Global Jumping Berlin. Some good results were achieved. In the first class, a class 1m45 over 2 phases, Leopold started VDL Groep Hutch (s. Numero Uno – b. Stoeterij Duyselshof). Finishing clear in the 2nd phase in 24,99 sec. they reached the 2nd place in this IDEE Kaffee Prize.
On Saturday Leopold rode VDL Groep Elegant Hero Z (s. Echo van ‘t Spieveld) in the Grand Prix of Berlin. Even this being the first start on this level for Elegant Hero, it didn’t stop them to ride a clear round. Being first to go in the jump-off Leopold and Hero unfortunately couldn’t keep the clear, however reached a good 6th place in this class.
On Sunday it was VDL Groep Hutch to be ridden in the Championat der Deutschen Kreditbank AG von Berlin, a class 1m50 with jump-off. Finishing clear in the jump-off they were placed 7th.
