Proud breeder!
We enjoyed watching our Youngsters jumping the KWPN Blom Cup at the fantastic showground of Tops International Arena in Valkenswaard.
The 4-yrs old mare VDL Groep Noucha (Diamant de Semilly x Balou de Rouet), daughter of VDL Groep Idylle, was ridden successfully by Jörn Emschove. Although this showground is impressive for a 4-yrs old horse, she did not make any fault and finished 11th in the Finals.
Both the 5-yrs old VDL Groep Mistral (Diamant de Semilly x Numero Uno), son of VDL Groep Tattoo ridden by Natalia Majchrowicz and VDL Groep Murphy (VDL Groep Jos van d’Abdijhoeve x Palm S), son of VDL Groep Unique ridden by Jörn Emschove, were showing very well. Although they missed the Finals, the general impression that they gave us makes us very happy.
The 6-yrs old VDL Groep Leopold (For Pleasure x Corrado I) one of the youngest offspring of our famous mare VDL Groep Think Twice, ridden by Niels Bulthuis, unfortunately did not reach the Finals because of 2 faults on day one. However being clear on day 2 and 3 he still gives us confidence.
VDL Groep Kiara (Clearway x Papillon Rouge), daughter of Issis du Marais, ridden by Niels Bulthuis did reach the Finals and jumped fantastic in this. Reaching the 7th prize and qualifying for the World Breeding Championships was a good way to finish these days.
It makes us proud to see our home-bred horses perform so well!
