Success in Bratislava!
Last weekend Leopold and his horses participated in the Danube Equestrian Festival in Bratislava. With VDL Groep Iron Z he was part of the Dutch team in de Nations Cup.
CSIO Bratislava has been a successful show. Although the start was difficult because of cancellations of classes due to heavy weather conditions, once the jumping started our horses were doing well.
Leopold rode VDL Groep Latoya (For Pleasure x Mr. Blue) in the Youngster Tour and reached on Saturday and on Sunday a 3rd prize. Riding VDL Groep Hutch (Numero Uno x Corofino) on Saturday in a class 1m50 with jump-off he was placed 5th.
Riding VDL Groep Iron Z on Friday in the Nations Cup he made a valuable contribution to the teamresult by finishing with only 4 penalties in 2 rounds. The team with other members Willem Greve, Mans Thijssen and Patrick Lemmen was placed 5th. In the Grand Prix on Sunday, ridden over 1m55, VDL Groep Iron Z (VDL Groep Charisma Z x Mr. Blue) again was in good shape. No penalties and a pretty fast time in the jump-off resulted in a 4th prize.
