VDL Groep Cavaro is a chestnut gelding bred by Stoeterij Duyselshof.
He had his training at the Stoeterij and has been showed by Jörn Emschove at 1m35 level. Cavaro is a very reliable, careful horse with sufficient scope.
VDL Groep Cavaro is a son of the French stallion Ol Metta. This stallion was entered at KWPN Studbook being awarded 8,5 for canter, 9 for scope and 8 for talent as a jumper horse. Ol Metta’s father Flipper d’Elle was very successful with his rider Laurent Goffinet being victorious at Aachen, Deauville and Gijon. Ol Metta’s dam Daphne Paluelle is a sportsmare who performed at 1m40 level and there are still more successful international showjumpers in this damline.
Cavaro’s dam VDL Groep Navarett, a daughter of Corofino I x Landgraf I x Montevideo, performed at 1m30 level. After her sports career she brought several offspring at Stoeterij Duyselshof. Between these several have competed on international level. One of them is the Zangersheide approved VDL Groep Cassanova Z (s. Chellano Z). Also Leopold's internationa show jumper VDL Groep Hutch is a son of Navarett.
Cavaro was sold in Duyselshof Auction 2017.
