VDL Groep Narita

The Holstein greatness Contender is sire of this VDL Groep Narita. Contender was champion of the stalliontest as a 3yr old and he sired many approved stallions such as Concerto II, Chellano Z and Cantos. Sons like Montender, Con Air and Conterno Grande were performing on highest level in sport. Besides that Contender is sire of a long list of international showjumpers, of which Checkmate is one of the best performing.

Dam J.Rapita is a half-sister of the Holstein approved stallion Avero (s.Athlet Z), who jumped on international level. Lord Calando is damsire of VDL Groep Narita. He sired among others the international sport and breeding stallion Lux Z and is damsire of stallions like Numero Uno, Chatman and Karthago. Granddam Rapita is sired by the outstanding stallion Capitol I, who is still one of the most prominent breeding stallions of the wordwilde sporthorsebreeding. He is very influential due to his sons like Carthago Z, Cardento, Calato, Cassini I-II and Indoctro.
This dam line traces back on a full sister to the Holsteiner approved stallion Fra Diavolo. This Griseldis is granddam of the national jumping stallion Silverstone (s.Silbersee) and the national showjumper Commander (s.Contender) and also the international showjumper Contact (s.Coriano). VDL Groep Narita herself was performing on national level with Kim Rothengatter and Leopold van Asten. Narita passed away in 2018.
